For Sale: Rover Mini Sprite

This 1993 Rover Mini Sprite has had a full nut and bolt rebuild and themed as a tribute to Monte Carlo Rallye winning Cooper 33EJB. Build Specifications:

New panels include front panel, both wings, both A panels, both door skins, bonnet, scuttle corners, repairs to both winner wings, driver A pillar, both rear quarters, roof gutter, boot floor, floor replaced to 2nd flute and new custom sills (to prevent rusting out).

Repainted inside, outside and underneath in Old English White. Sealed, stone chipped and wax oiled. Custom painted design and lacquered in. Stainless steel MK 1 grill. Genuine stainless bumpers, stainless over riders on front bumpers. Custom side repeaters in Group 2 arches. All new rubbers, stainless wipers, lots of stainless Smiffy bits used.

Interior

Fully re-trimmed, front seats from MPI mini with brand new Rover leather covers. Custom door cards and rear seat swab to match. Trimmed rear parcel shelf and cross members. Quality bound carpets. Paddy Hopkirk gear knob. Custom painted dash (genuine SPI dash used). New headlining with matching sun visors, passenger sun visor signed by Paddy Hopkirk (winner of Monte Carlo Mini Cooper Rally). Boot trimmed out to match the car.

Suspension and Brakes

Shot blasted and painted subframes, all components painted. New gas shock absorbers, all new bushes in a mixture of poly and rubber to obtain best handling and comfort. Hi Lo’s fitted to new front cones, new cones to rear with standard trumpets. New brake pipes, flexis, wheel cylinders.

Engine & Transmission

Customised engine bay, lots of painted and detailed bits. Replacement gearbox, new clutch, all new seals, mountings, bushes, cables and gaskets. Head has been refurbished. HIF 38 carb with cone filter and matched needle. Stainless large bore exhaust with Play Mini Magic downpipe. New water pump, hoses, 2 core radiator. New coil, HT leads. Dizzy module (electronic dizzy). All new service parts.
